| this time of the year is the worst i just cant wait to get out for the spring run i feel like a kid waiting up for santa lol i need a big bass this year and im puttin my time in. |

dont wait for the run!! Get your butt to the mouth of the big rivers. They "Stage" down there. you will catch em as early as April.
I have an Easter Sunday ritual... and that is casting swimbaits from the DEP docks in Old Saybrook. . . . and watching freaked-out faces as I flip keeper sized stripers back into the drink. |

i once had stipper fever but I don't want to talk about it. They are there, just go to the mouth as Scmoe stated (Thames, CT, Mystic, niantic).
