Went out saltwater fishing for the first time this season. Me and a couple guys I know went down in Stratford near BJ's under this bridge. We spent about 90 minutes there and pulled in somewhere between 15-20 snappers between 3"-9". No stripers or bigger blues were found in the area. After lunch we ended up heading down to Gulf Beach in Milford. We spent maybe 2 hours there and totaled 3 snappers and about 8 stripers. The stripers were all between 12"-18". Some nice little fights. All fish on the day were caught on kastmasters. It was a solid day out and I look forward to spending some more time saltwater fishing.
