Planned on Kayak fishing Lake Lillinonah but "possible showers" sent me to a smaller pond....got to the pond @9am, rigged up one rod with a buzzbait, the other with a senko.......tossed the buzzbait just past a small patch of lilly pads & just as it was being dragged thru the pads the water exploded like someone had tossed an M-80 .......totally unexpected it scared the hell out of me & I began a tug of war that lasted a good 15 mins....didn't know if I had a big bass or a large pickeral until I finally saw what turns out to be the bigggest Largemouth I've ever caught. I've caught 4lbers before but I think I can safely say this is 6+lbs ? caught quality fish on the buzzbait the rest of the day but after this one , they were all 'small'

| Wow, that's a beauty. I live in Torrington and have been to Stillwater many times but never pulled one that big out of there. Nice work and congrats!! |
