From shore, try here:

I've marked a couple of landmarks that I've mentioned in some of my reports about Spring Pond.

I always favor the wacky watermelon/red flake Dinger or pumpkin/red flake Senko. From shore, I'd go with the Senko, because it sinks faster. A Texas-rigged worm with a 1/8 oz tungsten bullet weight held in place with a rubber bobber stopper would probably also work well and be more weedless.

Good luck!

I plan to launch at the culvert so I actually will not be shore fishing. Thanks for the worm reccomendations though.

Yeah, the culvert is a better spot to launch than the S shore. There's a really shallow area surrounded by weeds on the deeper side of the area just S of the culvert on the W shore. I hooked a couple of very large chain pickerel near the shore on the S end of this area. Give it a shot.

The E shore N of the basalt boulder and pebble beach is very, very shallow and has been unproductive for me the last couple of times I've been there. I've also had very little luck around both of the islands.

Post a report after you go. I'd like to hear how it is now.
