Headed up to the funeral home Sunday afternoon. Arrived around 2:45pm.

Started by throwing a 1/8 ounce Rooster Tail. Caught 3 cookie cutters and an aggressive 8" pumpkinseed.

Saw those bigger bass swimming around so I switched over to a weightless soft plastic to try for a bluegill to liveline. After catching a small 4" bluegill, I livelined it. First attempt had bass chasing the bluegill but never grabbed it. Casted it back out and set the hook on a nice largemouth. As I started battling it the line snapped due to bad knot.

Caught another bluegill and livelined it. Had a bass take it a few times but couldn't set the hook. The bluegill was beat up and mostly dead so I went for another. Third bluegill I livelined didn't get much attention.

Switched back over to the Rooster Tail which caught me 2 more cookie cutters and another aggressive pumpkinseed.

Once it was 6pm I headed down to the Pequonnock at Beardsley.
