Started the day off at Twin Brooks Park starting just after 12pm.

Worked 2 of the ponds for a while with a number of Rapalas and a perch Rebel Pop-R with no luck.

Started feeling hungry around 1:45pm so I went to grab a bite to eat before getting back to Twin Brooks around 2:15pm.

Worked all of my usual open areas at the rest of the pond but never got into anything no matter which Rapala I threw. The only pond I couldn't fish was the one with the heron statue because of all the pads that have grown and me not having the right setup for fishing thick weed cover.

Later by 5pm I headed down to Beardsley Park. A steady 10 mph south wind had picked up by that time.

Threw a perch Flat Rap FLR-6 in my usual crappie spot and got 1 hit. Saw a few largemouths come out from the weeds and couldn't tell if I was seeing crappie or sunnies following the lure. The waves from the wind were making it tough.

Deeper areas of Bunnells Pond I threw silver shad Jointed Shad Rap JSR-4, shad Shallow Shad Rap SSR-7, custom painted mustard SSR-7, and helsinki shad Clackin Crank CNC-53 with no luck.

Tried jigging from the bridge to see if any crappie were in the weeds but had no luck.

Tried throwing a Pop R in the cove near cattails but no swirls.

Headed down to Glenwood Park by 6:30pm.
