a friend of mine and i started the day off at north farms around 440am and decided that it was not worth it; although there have been a few large bass out of there recently. decided to try silver. got there about 530am and didnt really have a plan where to go so we just drifted around mainly near the shallows. came out wtih a nice numbers day for the both of us. 2 sunnies, and 10 bass for myself; best being 3lb 14oz. my friend had i believe 8-9 bass nothing over a pound and 1 pickeral and 1 catfish caught on a crankbait to our surprise.
fished till 930am and called it a day. bad pic, but a pic none the less. later guys,

Nice job,..that's a real nice fish for Silver! What was the weed situation,..that place gets so overgrown it's tough to even get around sometimes?

Good numbers for Silver. What were the bass caught on and how is the weed situation there?

the bass were caught on various lures, ranging between senkos, powerworms, and pop rs. the weeds aren't the best or worst. i mean your trolling motor does get stuck sometimes but its not that bad
