Hi!

Anyone targeting and tried for Sea-Run Browns?

Most of the (SRB) streams listed in the Ct. Angler's Guide are open right now.
I have tried Latimer and Whitford with some success, mid to late March, last 2 years.
Thinking the up coming rain predicted and warmer temps.may trigger a run.
What's your thoughts?

If you are down in fairfield county try the saugatuck where it dumps into the sound, I heard of people landing sea runs and stripers in consecutive casts. I haven't been down there yet but will be slamming it soon. not to mention that I have heard that the walleye stocked a few miles up stream in the res. have made there way down there too.

Just picked up the guide. I see there is no closed season for sea runs. And what the heck are all the restrictions on fluke about? Probably wont fish for them, but thats a different thread anyway.
