If you have an Aquarian permit, can you ice fish the Saugatuck? _________________ Oh man... you got Onzo'd! |

Nope, I believe the rest is closed Nov 31st and opens opening day. Boy I wish you could fish it on ice. I'm drooling over the thought! |

Ice fishing prohibited. Closes December 31 and reopens Opening Day. |

Another place I wish they'd keep open for the entire trout season and allow ice fishing is Great Hollow Lake. Plenty of 5 pound largemouths, slab crappie, holdover trout, 3 pound pickerel, 8" bluegills, and keeper yellows. |

I talked to a local there and he told me that there is a high $$$ buy in club that has rights to row boats and has a netted area that hold humongaloid walleye and trout. He said it's all hedge fund and big shot lawyers and the buy in is around $250k a year! There area is on the "unfishable" side. _________________ Oh man... you got Onzo'd! |
