Hit the water at 4:00am, fished the Incoming until slack - no Bass, no blues - (live eels), at slack we caught some porgies and fished the outgoing with Porgies and Eels, we also anchored and chunked fresh Bunker.
Results:
(All on the outgoing outer Southwest 38' of water)-
One beautiful 30lb plus pound Bass landed and released (no sea lice), one smaller "keeper sized" Bass lost at boat side (both fish on eels), 2 wacks with live porgies, one Bass followed Porgy to surface, but would not commit. One Hit chunking, 2 head shakes and it was gone. No blues, no surface action - nothing on the diamonds.
All in all dissapointing - but great company - and I was skunked, but that's ok. |
