Went out today to a few of my favorite spots. Got 5 or 6 nice trout and 2 little salmon. Saw a guy there that my buddy got into it with a couple weeks back for keeping 10-15 trout one day. Had to keep my eye on him so he didnt keep too many. He only took 4 but 2 of them were about 5-6 inches. Hate people that do that kind of stuff. |

Holy crap! Someone posted something on the fly fishing forum.
I was starting to think there were no fly fisherman on this site.
I am just getting into fly fishing and check this forum for info often.
I recently had some luck with streamers on Far Mill, for Bass though, not Trout.
Using short quick strips, they were following it right in. |

yeah, iv never seen anyone post here either. This is pretty much my first year of fly fishing, my brother got me into it. I just figured maybe if i post more people will start too. Anyway, went to the farmington yesterday and got a couple little trout with the fly and saw a nice 3-4 pounder get pulled out by a guy using worms. Kind of a slow day, but still nice. Weather was beautiful so standing in 50 degree water wasnt too bad |
