Hi,
I just found this board, and it looks great! Now onto the fishing. My wife and I fished wrights cove yesterday morning from 8-about 12. When we went in it was low tide, and a little tricky going in. I managed to catch a submerged tree and bust the transducer off of my trolling motor Once we got in we started throwing texas rigged senkos in black and pumpkin flake. Water was pretty brown and around 65-66 degrees. The bass were up in the grass, and as the tide came up the further in they were. I picked up 7 all around 1.5-2 lbs, and one pike around 24". My wife got 3 larry's all around the same weight, and a 32 inch pike. On the way out, the tide was up and I kept the rest of the boat intact. A nice sunday morning. |

The river coves can be tricky with the tide. Welcome aboard! |
