| Went to Rainbow last evening at 6:30PM trying to steal a little time on the water with my boys. I got 5 bites in 10 minutes on a laydown about a mile up from the launch. I lost 2 decent fish before realizing my line was damaged. Caught one little largemouth. The other two...I have no excuse. Perhaps too weak on the hookset. Anyway, I was throwing Senkos (no weight) and got two casts in another area with a plug before the lightning scared us away around 7:30. Wish I could have stayed. I had the feeling that if I had my act together it would have been a pretty productive 45 minutes of fishing. |

Too bad Phish. Sometimes when a strorm is coming through the fishing picks up unbeleiveably. Had some good days fishing in the rain. But you definitely don't want to chance it in a thunder storm.

Thanks, Stumpy. I'll stick em next time. Tonight it's off to the Atlantic to try to hang some tuna in the morning and cod on the way in. |

| HEY PHISH i was out on rainbow same time you were i think i talked to you when we were pulling out should have ran up river more we were there for about a hour and half and landed five good keepers |

Cool. I knew it was only a matter of time before I ran across someone from this forum on the water. That lightning was getting ugly! Glad we both got out when we did. |
