Yes Mark...Just wanted to see if they are adding to the smallie pool in there. i know alot of those trout guys have been keeping them..Which stinks Crying or Very sad hopefully they can withstand them guys for a few yrs and the place turns into a good smallie lake. With the gas prices going through the rrof..Who can afford to drive up to candlewood anymore for a good day of smallie action..

Went here yesterday from 9:00AM to 12:30PM. Tried cranking the flats, dropshot, wacky, finesse jigs, swim jigs, jerkbaits, deep cranking - all with little success.

Hooked up with a 2 lb bass, swimming a jig, and my buddy caught a small pickerel on the pause with a jerkbait.

Seemed like a lot of the fish on the depth finder were still really deep even with the water temperature at almost 60.

I know there's no largemouth bass in there Rolling Eyes but smallies I didn't know. KingCranky I have the same luck as you when I fish there. I fish Cedar Lake down there a lot more and the action is a lot better. Laughing
