I fished quonni yestarday afternoon from abou 1 until 330 or so,...
Got zero,..zip,..nada!!!!
Now it might have been just me,..or just the day that I was there,..but it also appeared that the weedline was way, way down,...so I am going to assume that the place has been sprayed/treated!!! The water was pretty clear,....so maybe it was done a little while back,..but I still wanted to warn anyone that was thinking about going there! Personally, I'd give it at least a few weeks to come back some more,..before I'd consider going back! Crying or Very sad

At least you got out, but yeah thats terrible to get some where only to find out the fishing stinks.... especially if they treated the place.

On a high note the fishing hasn't been to bad around here lately! Razz

I went on Saturday and only caught a runt bass and a good sized pickerel (2-3 lbs.). My fishing partner did almost the same with an extra runt pickerel thrown in the mix, and that was in 6 hours of fishing.

The bass were going wild over large bugs (dragon flies) and leaping feet out of the water to get them. I had a few hits on the Pop-R - one was the runt and one was decent sized but I lost it when it dove to the weeds.

I thought the poor fishing was just me, but now I know better. Since you seem to own that lake, if the fish weren't biting what you were throwing, they must not be biting at all!

Thanks for the heads up Mark. I was contemplating going there or a few other places, you just made that decision a little easier.
