Since 9/11 you can't access Millstone by shore, only by boat.

If he's looking for a shore spot in that area he can try the Pleasure Beach launch across Jordans Cove from Millstone.

As Aroz said, you certainly can fish the outflow. Just warn him about the intake on the western side of Millstone Point. There are buoys there that you cannot fish inside of or you will get a visit from the Coast Guard. Looking down the barrel of the gun mounted up front is not pleasant. Shocked

Even in the discharge. We were met by a young gentleman weilding an automatic rifle and rambo knife strapped to his leg for getting too close to shore. So keep a bit of distance.

Whenever we bring someone on the boat that doesnt generally fish all that often and wants to hook up to anything we typically bring them there first. When we fish Millstone we never turn off the engine and do drifts in the outflow where the water pushes us backwards so we get to throw plugs all throughout the whole area. I see guys who anchor up right in the middle of the outflow on either of the two sides really close to land thats where they probably get into trouble. I wouldnt anchor up there to begin with, but definitely not as close to land as i've seen some people. Im pretty sure thats when a guy with an AR comes up to you and sternly asks you to move your vessel lol.
