You must have done something wrong for it not to work. Maybe use primer since it's Alum. _________________ Sleep...Eat...Fish!!!!! Then do it all over again. |

No ,Ron,, I did everything you said,,, 3 times, it just didnt work,, It seems you cant epoxy it or glue it with anything,,, that pin wiggles ever so slightly, and it seemed to just wiggle its way out,, no matter what I used for cement,, I got to the point of doing it right,, so I drilled a 1/16inch hole ,a 3/8 stainless washer,and a cotter pin, DONE,,, But I do want to say THANK YOU for trying to hook me up,, I tried, it just didnt work for my application,, anytime I take things apart I always use locktite of some sort to reinstall my projects,,, by the way,,, that super glue you gave me works GREAT on rubber baits,, whether Im repairing it or glueing it to the hook,, Thanks JIM |
