After eating and relaxing at Duchess, I hit the Pequonnock at the Wonderland of Ice.
To my surprise the redbreasts weren't being the aggressive fish they usually are. I casted with the glass minnow HJ-6 and a glass ghost X-Rap XR-6 but never had any luck except for 1 redbreast following the XR-6.
Headed over to the lower tidal part of the Pequonnock at Glenwood Park to see if anything was still happening. Only caught a dinky largemouth and missed out on another largemouth. Had 1 crappie follow a few times.
Hit the road just after sunset. |
