Went out with my special lady friend for a little fishing off the jetty. Went out at about 6:15PM and stayed till 7:45PM.

First cast with the Kastmaster yielded a good sized Sea Robin (as usual).

Tried sending out top water and swimming lures. No hits.

Just as the sun was setting, I was cranking in the Kastmaster to switch lures, it was about 15' out and flopping on the surface. a 15" Striper nailed it!

All was quiet after the little Striper, and we headed out.

I did see some bunker in a small school, a couple dozen, chasing around some minnows. Hopefully it picks up soon.

sounds like everywhere else right now.
Bunker don't chase minnows. They could have been hickory shad or snappers.

hmm i was wondering about that. they looked a bit like snappers but were way too slow when wiggling after the minnows.
