Anybody know if I can get a boat in Pachaug? I can't imagine there is much ice left. I want to hit it this weekend, but it is over an hour away and I would just like to make sure. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. _________________ Go big or go home! |

Sweeeeet! Looks like Pachaug on Sunday! I actually can't believe that lake is open year round w/ pike spawning in it. They should be easy to find and catch. Guess we'll see. _________________ Go big or go home! |

How is the boat traffic there?I hate being on my kayak when boats are flying by, but I'd really like to give catching a pike a shot. |

I've never been there but I hear there is alot of boat traffic duing the summer. There shouldn't be many people out this time of year, though. _________________ Go big or go home! |

Man. Now I wish I had my kayak. I want a pike! I could see with it being so big that there would be a lot of traffic but figured it was worth asking. |

Pachaug not so kayak friendly, even if there are not a lot of boats out, the wind really kicks once you get to the main part of the lake.....i was out in my canoe and it was like being on long island sound.... |

Too bad. Good thing I asked first. I guess I'll have to do some research and find somewhere kayak friendly that has pike. Thanks. |

Thanks for the tip, I like the idea of an 8mph speed limit. |
