Hi All!
Took a ride around the NW today.
Well, to say all the lakes and ponds are now full, is an understatement!
Colebrook Res. is more than full -> Main gate is closed and the water is all the way up to the restroom house and the parking lot is easily close to 20 ft. under water.
All dams are overflowing and streams and rivers are running FAST, HIGH, and WILD
NOT GOOD to be on any flowing water right now
Water is also still pretty cold!
It's going to take a while for things to settle down!
Least I have my Mass. Lic. (worth the price $37.50) and can go fish the trout lakes and ponds there.
Nice when I'm only 7 miles from the border!
Best regards,

Thanks for the info SD1.
Ive been too busy suckin water from the basement to even think about fishin...
Im debating on heading east or south this weekend... perhaps moodus, pickerel... or maybe messerschmidt. heading to messerschmidt depends on whether Im in the mood to lug the stuff in. |
