It's been a while, but I finally got back out. My bro in law and I hit the Farmington River today in Unionville with nothing more than few bumps...could have been rocks so we packed up and went down to Wallingford to hit the Quinni. 15mins of being there we got 3 browns all over 16 with the biggest nudging 20. Not bad and what a gorgeous day it was. _________________ Yankees are like snitches...a dying breed |

The never fail trout worms. Haha. I had a couple bumps on a yellow rooster tail in the Farmington and seen a few surface, but that was it. I like the Quinni. It always produces. Seen 2 nice ones "courting" eachother when we got there, both had to be about 16" _________________ Yankees are like snitches...a dying breed |

Trout worms will do it every time. I'll have to try the Quinni one of these days. |

It's nice and where I go is actually a canal off the Quinni behind some condos. Who would think to fish there? they're some nice ones in there. Back in Aug I lost a Brown that had to push 5lbs. I actually landed him,it broke my line and when I went to grab it I slipped and kicked it back in the water. Oh well. I'd like to hit Farmington more since it is a little closer,I just don't know many spots. _________________ Yankees are like snitches...a dying breed |
