Hello all my name is Derek and I have been fishing CT for about 5 years now. I mainly fish for bass but I also enjoy some trout and Striper fishing in the early months. So far I haven't landed a "keeper" striper but I am hoping this year is my time. I am catch & release almost 100% of the time as I don't like fish, but I will keep a few trout & cats for some friends. I hate getting skunked on a trip and will do whatever I can to get a fish, even if that means catching a 4" sunfish lol.
I drive a tan VW and normally fish from a tan kayak/canoe with the letters DV on it, if you see me out sometime just say hey. I love meeting new fishing buddies and I fish 5-6 days outta the week. Mainly the on CT river / farmington, Bolton lakes, Mashapaug, crystal and a few other lakes too.
This site is tooooo slow, more people need to post. |

Tips are well appreciated, I came close last night though. I ended up landing a bunch of schoolies with the biggest being 26". Getting there! |
