Hi all, just moved to CT with my wife, huge outdoorsman (bow hunter, freshwater and fly fishing). BUT im completely new to saltwater fishing especially from shore. I remember fishing for snappers when i was a little kid and that was some great action for a 14 year old!
I'm here looking for tips, whats biting and what bait to use. I'll mostly be fishing Norwalk, Westport, Fairfield shore lines.
thanks in advance |

Welcome to CT and welcome to surf fishing!
This time of year is when striped bass action is very productive. Bluefish are just moving in at this time and so are fluke and sea robins. Weakfish are around right now too.
What do you prefer doing in the salt, lures or chunks? |
