No problem, I know, didn't mean for it to come across the way it came out, was just adding my $.02 about the age.
On another note, I truly believe there's a record or two LMB swimming around in the CT river |

I just hope that if she's caught again she is treated well. |
Yeah...I'm thinking I'd take her to the casino for dinner at MJ's, bottle of crystal, and then we'd spoon for a while in a VIP suite before the limo trip back to the river. _________________ Dave..... I can be a pain in the bass. |

I found this pond today and with a buddy we caught multiple bass exceeding 4 pounds and I truely feel this pond has my 7+ pound lunker in it. The bass in here are amazing and I can't believe it. Your bass is huge but I still think there are some monsters living in some of CT's old ponds. That's $&#@ing awesome though man niceeee. This age talk makes me wonder if that 8 pounder Michael caught a few years ago in that golf course is that big now. _________________ You know it was a good day when your thumb is all scratched up. |

Thanks Hoppy! I'll definetly post a couple pictures up when the replica is made. I have been talking to a guy out in California who is supposively one of the best bass replica guys there is. I can't wait to get it done and see it myslelf! .
She didn't put up too much of a fight ironically. When she bit i hit her hard and she jumped completely out of the water! She wasn't happy but then she calmed down and surfaced at the side of the boat. I reached down and lipped her easily. It's was really cool. _________________

nah thank you for sharing. Dont see many of these big girls so its always a pleasure to see one pop up now and then. Well deserved justin....i know you have put lots of time on the river. Its a sweet reward for all that time and effort.
Good looking fish to. Im assuming she was spawned out? Wonder what her weight would have been when she was real fat. Id bet thats a 10lb fish at the right time. Cant wait to see the replica.......sick wall art!!
imagine bringing that fish in to the wieght in at your tuesday night deal!! that would have been icing on the cake. |

That's truly a trophy. You earned the right to call it a 9.5 to 10 lber, especially when releasing the fish. I am amazed that the CT River has largemouth that big only because river fish, in general, direct more energy to non-growth iwhen living in a constantly moving environment where lake fish don't have to. That's really a remarkable fish.
Did you get a length and girth? Makes a nice fiberglass mount. |

Congrats man......gorgeous fish! I've only seen one close to that in person, and it snapped my buddies 12lb test in the mouth of the Salmon River. They're definitely in that system to be had. Awesome! |

Nice fish man! It must have been exciting to see such a monster come to the surface. I love using top water lures it gets your adrenanlin pumping when they hit it. What type of pole and line test were you using? _________________ -Bass me a beer. |

what a pig! nice fish. Good to hear you let her go. I would do the same.
I am supposed to be going on on a tournament on the river next week. When I catch her, Ill treat her real nice
also respect your secret lure. I never give specifics, I dont ask for them either. Part of the sport is figuring that out yourself! |
