I recently started to go salt water fishing with fam and friends.
My 1st outing (besides many years ago) I caught one flounder on a piece of mackerel.
We fished a place in norwalk calf pasture I believe its called
I may go with them on sunday to a place in bridgeport.
Could you give me some advice on:
weight size
leader length
kind of bait / size of bait
what type of lure / size of lure
We last fished for strippers, flounder, and blues

Sorry, I couldn't resist. . . .  Strippers, stripers; that's a very common Freudian slip on this board. Hmmm. . . .

| Yes, Fluke season is over, but for blues and striper iv been having alotta good luck on eels, and bunker. Dont catch many striper once the sun is up but blues are still fun to catch. leader size i usually use about 4ft or somewhere around there, dont really measure it. then top it off with a 7/0 or 8/0 circle hook. |

| Yea, weve been doing well leaving around midnight and fishing untill sun up, around 6-7am the striper bite becomes alot of blues. |
