I headed out to the Naugy in Seymour the other evening between 530-7 PM. The bite was on and I caught a decent amount of fish.

2 of these guys around this size :

5 of these guys :

I also caught a handful of the smaller/fingerling smallies along with a nice red breast. The big smallie of the day came off the hook with a nice jump out of water.

Everything was caught on my good ol' trusty gold pheobe.

Let me know when you get your tank set up and I will start keeping them.

I got bored so I hit the Naugy by O'sullivans Island. My first time. Those river smallies on light tackle are fighters. I had to cut two hooks off my Rooster Tail Treble because they kept inhaling them. Caught quite a few fish in the hour I was there.

Biggest about 10 inches and one hell of a fight. I had to keep adjusting my drag. I thought I had a Striped Bass on.

Yeah it's funny how an 8" Naugy Smallie will fight you better than a 15" largemouth.
