Hit the spot below the falls again last night, which is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots. Between my son and a buddy of mine we got 8 smallies and 3 what I believe are called fallfish. All on chartreuse spinners.

Yeah I think those are fallfish. I caught like 10 the first 2 times I went there and thats it but haven't caught one since. Was there for an hour from 7-8 tonight and caught 23 fish. 20 SMB and 3 sunnies. What pretty looking fish the sunnies in there are. Every fish was below like 8" though.

Yeap, that's definitely a good sized fallfish. I have to admit, catching a big fallfish is a lot better than catching nothing at all. Very Happy

They stocked the naugy with alewives guys. Thats why you are catching them. Do you catch those fish regulary? They would be good pike bait.

I had caught a Fallfish about that size on fly an it was descent fight. I don't think they get much bigger than that though

That's a rather productive spot. I was just there tonight for about an hour.....was a bit further downstream from the dam though. Only caught 1 smallie and 1 bluegill on a silver phoebe.
