Took a day off work and started out at Mashapaug. Slow fishing with only four fish to show - 3 LMB, largest being 2lbs 1oz out of 25fow on a jig. Got one small SMB in 15-20fow. I like fishing here because it is nice and peacful, but I don't know it too well and it fishes tough for me. Seems like it could be at least a little more productive if I got to learn it more.
Moved to Crystal for the afternoon shift and didn't fare much better. All fish on the dropshot, I had one small SMB and ~5 LMB, nothing over 2lbs. Wife caught a 1lbs. 9oz smallie.
Nice day to be in the sun, but the fishing was slow. |

I think you actually did pretty good considering how sunny it was and where you were fishing!! My experience has been that a sunny day and very clear water spells: "tough bite" most of the time!! _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."
