Hiit mansfield to day with J4F from 7-12. Did very well (as far as that place goes).Boated over 15 keepers,one 6 lb pike a fwew oddballs cat,perch etc.
Fish were caught in deeper water 5-10 feet.Water temps from 80-88 light winds with sun to clouds to sun. Water clarity was 2-4 feet. Water levels are down about 3-4 feet there from normal pool.

Yah,..it was a pretty good numbers day as far as Mansfield goes,.... We did have to work for them pretty good except at one offshore spot where Johnny took 4 bass on 4 consecutive casts (while I was in the back, retying)!!!  
Didn't mention it, but we caught them on a variety of baits,...jigs, worms of various sorts, jerk baits and a dropshot!
Always fun fishing with you John,...sort of like being with Charlie Moore in a lot of ways!!  (And don't worry,..I won't tell anyone about handling the catfish!!  )
