On my way home tonight I counted 6 boats fishing just south of the RT 15 bridge by Sikorsky's. This was the first time I have seen several boats out this season, especially ones that weren't moving under power. Have the stripers started their run? Every boat looked to be drifting within the length of the island on the east side of the river. I couldn't see what was going on but I sure wanted in..lol |

That area has been holding fish most of the winter. The recent temps have made them a bit more active so the boat traffic should pick up until they start to spread out.
No run yet but plenty of fish to be caught if they are in the mood. |
