I'd like to know if certain bodies of water are safe and if people have ever ice fished them.

Places include Seymour Reservoirs, Fountain Lake Reservoir, Warner Pond, and the small pond at Eisenhower Park in Milford.

One other place I could imagine during a very cold winter like this is Mondo Pond.

Eisenhower Park is, technically, the Wepawaug River, and closed for fishing until April. Plus it is so silted in that it is only inches deep in many places.

I've caught crappie, bass, and pick in that small pond. I also thought the Wepawaug doesn't feed through it? Trout season doesn't end til the last day of Feb so it should be open to fishing.
