I got 1 for $4.50 = 2 for $9 so the koppers frog would be the same price ase the booyah frog

I have never had luck with booyah I think the quality and price do not go along with each other..

Many of their products are over priced for what you get.

I've been fishing bruiser 4" frogs. Nice and soft with great paddle feet (though I didnt test it out with my thumb.) I just got some ribbits in at 4.5". I love them. They are huge and soft. I thought I could use the 4/0 screw toad hooks I've been using with the bruisers with them, but they were too fat to let the hook expose enough on the set. This weekend I had a real fatty come a foot out of the water drifting this frog, center lake in mid afternoon while I was throwing cranks. After it went back down with it I set...had good tension...and then nothing. When I looked at the ribbit, the hook was only exposed a half inch, and bottomed out on the frog. I dont care much for the double frog hooks, but I'm going to try them again for this stanley frog...it's a big ass frog.

Try using a wide gap soft swimbait single hook! weighted or unweighted depending on how deep you want it to run Wink

Thats what I'm using pike. Sizmic EWG 4/0 screw nose single frog hooks. This ribbit is just too big for them. I had several nice hits on it today, but didnt set a single one. I switched to the smaller bruiser frogs with the same hook, and boated 6 bass, all dinks. I'm going to check on what stanley recommends for this frog, cause it provokes big hits from big fish. Great paddle action on the feet. A little heavy on the cast with my current frog pole. No weight needed for these frogs. They ride on top with a faster retrieve, stay at a foot on a slower, and sink on the pause. Great multi-purpose action.

I really like the 3:16 lure company No Bull Frog. They are a bigger than most frogs and push a ton of water. I have only been fishing them this year so no huge fish yet but quite a few dinks, just make sure to glue them back up with some of their glue or mend it to make them last longer.

I think I just found the best of both worlds when I was at Dick's today...

Well I paid the $10 for the hard bait version you walk like a spook. Second cast off my dock WHAM!! nice little 2 pound largie. All the rec boat traffic has kicked up a lot of weeds, so it is a pain to use even though it's a floater. Thing casts a country mile, has good action but takes some practice to keep the cadence up.

yeah, i use those some times in the pads, they have the churning leg action but can be paused or stopped, only disadvantage would be their light weight, reducing casting distance(especially on a stout baitcaster with heavy braid), but they def have their moments! -Dan

Yeah...my trophy scum frog has a brass weight on the bottom. This one would definitely be helped if the brass weight was there. Throwing it in the wind would not be much fun.
