Skeeters Jim & Ron did some road trips this past weekend and this is what happened.
Lake X, Friday afternoon:
Despite the rain, Jim and I headed to Lake X with the Twin Troller. We put in around 1pm and fished until 5pm. The water was tea color, raining on and off most of the time and cloudy, water temps around 60’s. Total fish, more than 12, best going 4++lbs (My lunker ) a few in the 3lbs range. We worked the weed line and drop offs. I was Bass Master this day.
Twin Lake, Sunday AM
Windy and chilly when we got on the water around 9am, Clear skies most of the time, water was between 56 – 60degs. Very clear water can easily see 12’. Fished the weed line, drop offs and even tried drop shotting until 3pm, very slow action, 5 LMB and one slimedart. Jim was Bass Master this day. I could not buy a bite to save my life.
All in all and good weekend.!

Well done, sounds like you had fun , but I thought we had seen the last of the Lake X reports?

That was Jim idea. How about this, Lake 35 minutes south of Newington off Route 9.
