Hi Bass 4 me!
Well.....Lantern Lake, and Long Lake are CLOSED! till the 3rd Sat. in April.
Amos has a special 1 fish (trout only 16" min.) from Mar.1 to Mar. 31st
(Per the Ct. Angler's Guide)
All 3 are trout waters!
As for Lake of Isles (Open)....That is a very shallow and weedy pond....it may be ice free.
Only has pickerel, crappie, bullheads, eels, and some sunfish in it.
No Bass!
You need to go on the Ct. DEP site to read the 2010 Angler's guide to see what lakes and ponds are Open or Closed this time of year!
Best regards,

Now...Now Bass 4 me.
No need to get upset!
This is all part of fishing here in Ct. and obeying the rules and regs.
Be paitent, things will get better as the Wx gets warmer.
This is a very good time to do some research and read up on various lakes and ponds here in Ct. and those closest to you.
Best regards,
