Any body been to Lake McDonough this week? I went there the last 2 weekends and the water level is like 10 feet higher than normal. My favorite spot is under water. I drove by the Farmington river in Canton and the bridge in Collinsville, and the river was rippin pretty good, so my awesome powers of deduction Rolling Eyes tell me that the lake must still be flowing strong out of the overflow and into the Farmington river. Just wondering if anybody knows first hand. Last year at this time the lake was drained about 15 feet lower than it normally is. Anybody know why or if they will do it again?

i went there last weekend just to do some shore fishing because the boat launch is closed and the water was still high. it was really hard to cast because trees were in front of you. didn't catch anything but i was amazed at how clear the water was.
