I need to know a few things about lake besecks derby and just the regular lake.
I signed up for this derby and mailed it out yesterday i was wondering when is the rain date? And i need your opinion will it happen this weekend or be postponed? Finally where is the dam located if i am on the boat launch facing the lake do i go right or left? need answers soon also whos going ?   |

There are some big northern pike in Beseck. Bring steel or heavy fluorocarbon leaders!
I'd head toward the dam, which is to the left from the boat launch ramp. The shoreline all the way to the corner always seems to hold pike. Would a big pike count in a derby? Anyway, here's a map of the lake with some bathymetric data on it:
