| Anyone know a bait shop near the mouth of the CT River? I want to pick up some eels and try Stripper fishing near the mouth of the river.Also does anyone have an adddress for a public launch near the mouth of the river .thanks. |

I can't help you with the bait, but here's the DEEPs Boat Launch Map:

There are ramps at the Baldwin Bridge, Lieutenant River and Great Island.

You've got River's End bait shop on Route 1 Old Saybrook. And the Baldwin bridge state launch.
On Route 156 in Old Lyme you have Black Hall Outfitters. Also the Great Island state launch and where i launch from the Lieutenant river car-top launch,right on 156.
You could even put in on the Saybrook side from the dog park that is next to the Dock & Dine resturant.
