Hey all, I am about to move into a house where the housatonic is litterally in my back yard. Its just below the Stevenson dam, is there good fishing here? I usually stick to ponds and lakes, dont do much trout but that doesnt mean i wont. If anybody has any info on what is good running through there its much appreciated. Thanks. |

Hi Bass Sniper!
Well.......You've got all the regular suspects in the Housy,(Pan fish, Trout) plus Pike!
Trouble is you can't eat "ANY" of the fish because the Housy is laced with PCB's that GE dumped in it for years up in Pittsfield, Mass. and has been carried all the way down the river length.
Have fun catching though!
