Dude, every day is different....every hour is different. Given your choices, I would pick Highland over Mt Tom. Only cuz you run the "Risk" of catching either small or large mouth bass too... and I would guess there are more trout in Highland...Its also 10X the size, in case you are not alone in your venture.

Mt Tom has had its share of good days too this year for salmon based on some of the reports. But has had some no-show days too.

Good Luck out there.

Thought Scoville was closed to ice fishing this year?

SCOVILLE?
In Wolcott?

For REAL?

Ive fished that a bunch of times with the kayak and jon boat, and never hit any real decent fish ....except a bow fin...that was really cool. didn't even know what it was at first.

See previous pics posted by Metalfish. They drained it almost all the way down. Supposedly they are dredging it in the spring.

Ya Scoville was alright. I got a buddy who pulled out a few 5 pounders last year before they drained it. Also witness a 4 pound smallie caught thru the ice there. You always got Lakewood which is right around the corner.
