Anyone caught on my boat with a "Red Sox" anything will be swimming back to the ramp. That's assuming they where able to get on in the first place.

I consider a "red sox" logo'd item to be as much bad luck as a banana on a boat.

(Just my 2 cents)

Enough said.

Sorry for changing the subject..

Back to fishing..

Highland can be tough to fish with all the recreational boating going on. The night tourney Justin mention was tough, even then there was two boats flying all over.

Baseball and politics don't belong on the water unless you support a team/party with no chance in hell of winning anything ever.

Ah, the banana and boat superstition...I found out about it when pulling out a banana while shooting a fishing show. The banana was unceremoniously launched into the woods by the host. I know better now.

Ron - Bananas are bad luck on a boat? Really?!?! Perhaps you know; should I name my Hobie before putting her in the water? What do you think of "The Other Woman"? Anyway, yes, I noticed that the shoreline at Highland Lake gets pretty battered by wakes.

Kira - I think that baseball and boats go together just fine. I'd let even a Cubs fan in my boat if they wanted to fish. Remember, you can't have winners unless there are also losers. Go White Sox!

The Cubs are the Mariners of the NL Phil. They don't count.

That banana lure is terribly cute.

Phil the hat was the right choice. Kira the difference between the Mariners and the Cubs. Is the amount of time the Cubs have been around.

Let me tell you this.

I was fishing on a party boat one time and whip'd out a banana. The crew almost throw me over.

We didn't catch a fish that day.

I don't beleave in all that but they do! So now I'll eat one before I go fishing.

Ditto on the Cubs sucking. Go White Sox!

Sorry, Kira, but I think the White Sox might sweep the Mariners for the second time this season.
