I was planning on going to Mcdonough but they closed it because of the "hurricane" . So instead we went to Hayward.
We fished from 6:30am to 2pm. Weather was perfect, cloudy, very little wind, and some on and off rain. The deep bite was completely off, so we hit docks and shallow weeds, which yielded 14 bass. All over 12", with most 14"-15". Everything came on a wacky rig or jig. All except one came from docks or weeds, which turned out to be lunker of the day.
My brother got it from a rocky bank on a white senko. I'd like to see if anyone can guess the exact weight of the fish. One guess per person please. _________________ Catch and release only.

Just over 18 inches long and three pounds, four ounces. I was going to say three pounds, three ounces, but hoppy beat me to it. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

Some seriously close guesses! We didn't get a length on the fish, but it weighed 2lbs 15oz, which put it as his second biggest ever. Here's his PB, which never hit the scale. He got it on a plastic salamander he found at the bottom of a clearance bin at Cabela's.
