Went out with my dad yesterday morning 7-1130, we launched at the haddam meadows and went up to middletown first. While getting poured on we managed to catch alot of schoolies but nothing of size, then fished the river banks down towards pratt with no luck. We then anchored up around haddam island and south of the launch catching alot more schoolies however the biggest was 15". Also got a few small channel cats here and there. Still looking for the first keeper of the season but the schoolies are everywhere. we used sandworms on the bottom and the sp minnows casting along shore (bone color) that people we know have had luck with so far.

Nice report. Going out Wednesday night. Docks in at Haddam or Salmon Cove yet?
