Go ten minutes on East 84 and you can fish for some trout at Valley Falls or Walker Reservoir. Both TMA ponds, both better fished during the week. Both have really good shore access...small enough no boats, big enough, room for everyone. Plus Valley falls has some nice trails if you want to walk the trails. I've caught bass and pickerel in both also.

I don't use power bait.. I don't have the patience to bottom fish.. I gotta cast and stay moving... use what you think and experiment a little.

I slay the ponds with a Bluefox or Yellow Coachdog Rooster tail
