First off, what part of the state are you willing to travel to?
Second, saltwater fishing, meaning surf casting, surf chumming, or vessel? |

A good spot to start would be River's End Tackle in Old Saybrook. They could give you some good advice and sell you the stuff you need. You can find the CT Coastal Access guide online. When you have some success, keep where you did well a secret. Access is tough and spots are small, and it's pretty easy to tip a bunch of people off (especially with a photo) and find nowhere to fish from the next time. Have fun! |
