Hey Guys (and gals). Couldn' t get a date, so ventured solo down to Cedar, but wasn't alone, as there were 14 dudes on the ice already when I got there at 7. By the time I had my 5th hole drilled, the flags were flyin. Was pretty consistent all morning, ended up wth 4 bass and 9 pickerel. Kept 2 bass that were about 2# each, just enough for supper tonite. Ice was about 6" thick. Wind wasn't too bad, and bright sun made the 18 degree morning tolerable. Fish were deeper than I would have expected. all came from more than 12 feet. no flags in the shallows. |
