Headed out from Clinton harbor around 6. Came in around 9. Hit one ledge about mile and half from launch entire time. If I didn't catch a fish on every drift I missed one. Mix of stripes and blues....mainly blues. Biggest striper was no more than 35. Good fun though. Perfect night to slam em! |

which way did you go after launching. I launch out of old saybrook all the time and fish around hatchets. If you dont mind telling where about did you get the fish. Havent had much luck this year for some reason. |

I launch at the public marina in the clinton harbor. It is 20 bucks - but if you get in early some times you can avoid this fee. I only have a 17 foot boat so it's not too bad on a good day. I have been slamming the stripers and blues in the same spot about 2 miles off the launch on the outgoing tide everytime I go out. This is my first year out so i'm not sure if it's like this every year. |
