Going out on a limb here, but I'm going to assume that nobody fishes Rainbow Reservoir, judging by the number of replies. Good. More 2-5 pounders for me. Got another 2.5 lb LMB, 3 in the 1.5 class, and a number of keeper smallies today. |

That's a very good point. I guess I'd just like to see some chatter and see how the rest of you guys are catching them up there...not to mention it would be nice to meet out on the water. |

i went there friday with brennan, post cold front conditions and the sky couldnt be any more blue. we managed 3 apiece B caught a nice keeper smallmouth out of the bunch we had a few rats in there and i got 1 keeper lm.
i will go back there some nice wood in there with good current breaks. the water was down to 62deg in the morning, when that sun came out the only bites i got were on a drop shot rig. |

Didn't they drain that place, just a couple of years ago? _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."

I've definitely found that they're tight to cover too. I'm liking bouncing the shallow crank off of wood to get the reaction strike and have found that with plastics, they're either taking it on the fall or not at all, though I have caught a few on the jig bouncing it at a decent pace.] |

thats because of the stain in the water...more stain=tighter cover. just my 2 cents |
