ive known Charlie on a personal level for a long time and he's actually a very very kind, down to earth guy who credits all his success to hard work, his fans/viewers and having good people around him. His very first t.v. show was taped in the Rocky Ledge Tackle shop a long time ago.. He is a very modest guy who doesnt claim to be a good fisherman, just a guy who likes to fish and share it with the audience. Hes certainly no fake however, he is the same way in person as he is on t.v. Try having a conversation with him on the phone! Johnny Skeeter will back that up too! Smile

Charlie is a good guy..

I met old Gadabout Gaddis, the very 1st TV fisherman (Flying Fisherman) and even fished with him 1 time down in Florida just before he passed away Exclamation

(I was only 20 and in the Navy)

NOW there was a super regular guy and a REAL Gentleman Exclamation

Loved to fish and never claimed to be an expert.
Very Grandfatherly, loved people and especially kids.
NOW THERE'S A ROLE MODEL Exclamation

Too Bad Charlie didn't take a cue and tried to model himself after GG or even Jerry McKinis instead of the LOUD OBNOXIOUS !@#$% that he is Exclamation

Chaalie Mooah is funny as hell...IMO

I think he would be a fun guy to fish with. His trash talking is fun and I'm sure helps his ratings too. Who hasn't talked trash with guys they fish with. Keep up the good work Chaaaalie!!

His show is very entertaining, my 3 year old son and I love watching the show. I have yet to see anything on his show that is offensive, if I did, I would not be watching it with my son. To each his own though.

I agree with Seadog. And that Derek Jeeter guy is real jerk too!!!! You call him a role model??? I remember real role models like Billy Martin and Mickey Mantle. They were the best, except when they were drunk and out womanizing........ Shocked

Listen...the guy is funny and entertaining......Ya a little loud and crazy but thats what makes him and the show..the guy is happy as can be with catchin a 1lb larry all the time ,he doesnt need to get the big boys all the time and he is always in good spirits...I like him
