So… I broke my favorite casting rod yesterday. Stupid mistake, closed it in the hatch of my Subaru… so I’m looking for a replacement.
I’ll post a picture of the broken rod when I have a chance, but it has a very unique shape. It has a short trigger style grip (typical closed-face reel zebco style grip), and the rod blank is very thick at the reel seat. It tapers down to a more “normal” diameter a foot or so above the reel. Overall it is 5’6” long, and all one piece. The color is grey carbon-fiber weave with a smooth high gloss finish.
If you find this rod for sale somewhere, be it a yard sale, flea market, etc… PLEASE buy it and I will gladly buy it from you. Unfortunately I have no idea when it was made, and hours of scouring the internet turned up no additional info on it. I bought this rod at a yard sale last summer, and I’ve been trying to find another one ever since.
Thanks! _________________ PB's:
